ReMind Health is a medication adherence platform that helps individuals manage their medications, set reminders, share medication information with caregivers, and access FSA/HSA benefits. We are not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or health plan. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: name, email address, password, and optional profile photo.
- Medication Information: names of medications, dosage amounts, dosage schedules, and related notes you enter into the Service.
- Caregiver connections: names and contact information for caregivers or family members you invite to your account.
- Payment Information: billing details provided when subscribing. Payment card data is processed by Stripe via Flex and is never stored on ReMind servers.
- Communications: messages or feedback you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: features accessed, reminders set, medications logged, and actions taken within the app.
- Device Information: device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers.
- Crash and diagnostic data: error logs and performance data to help us identify and fix bugs.
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level) for fraud prevention and analytics.
2.3 Consumer Health Data
The medication information you enter into ReMind — including medication names, schedules, and dosage details — constitutes consumer health data. We treat this information with heightened care. We do not sell your consumer health data. We do not use it for advertising. We only use it to provide and improve the Service as described in this Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Send medication reminders and missed-dose notifications.
- Enable caregiver monitoring and alerts.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Improve the Service through analytics and diagnostics.
- Respond to your support requests and communications.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or consumer health data. We may share information with:
- Caregivers you designate: Medication schedules, adherence status, and missed-dose alerts are shared with caregivers you explicitly invite.
- Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform, including Stripe (payment processing), Expo (push notifications), OpenAI (medication scan feature — images are processed and not retained), and RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and medication history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and medication records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Secure password hashing (bcrypt).
- Regular security assessments.
- Access controls limiting employee access to user data.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data using commercially reasonable measures.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Export: Export your medication data in FHIR R4 format.
- Opt-out of notifications: Manage notification preferences in the app settings.

ReMind is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
