1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and ReMind Health ("ReMind," "we," "our," or "us"). They govern your access to and use of the ReMind mobile application, website, hardware accessories, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
ReMind is a medication adherence platform that provides:
- Medication tracking: Log medications, dosages, and schedules.
- Smart reminders: Customizable push and in-app reminders.
- Caregiver sharing: Share medication information with designated caregivers or family members.
- Medication scan: Use your device camera to scan and import medication details (powered by OpenAI image recognition).
- FSA/HSA payments: Pay for your subscription using FSA or HSA funds (processed via Rex and Stripe).
- Hardware integration: Pair with the ReMind Bluetooth smart dispenser (where available).
ReMind is a wellness and adherence tool, not a medical device. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. Medication reminders are convenience features — do not rely solely on ReMind for critical health management.
3. Account Registration
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and not share account credentials with others.
- Notify us immediately at support@get-remind.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not create an account on behalf of another individual without their consent, or use the Service to manage medications for another adult without their knowledge.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
4.1 Subscription Plans
ReMind offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions unlock premium features including advanced reminders, caregiver sharing, medication history export, and hardware integration. Pricing and features for each tier are displayed in the app and may be updated from time to time.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through the App Store, Google Play, or our website. By subscribing, you authorize ReMind to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
4.4 FSA/HSA Eligibility
ReMind subscriptions may be eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. We process FSA/HSA payments through Rex and Stripe. Eligibility depends on your specific plan and employer; ReMind does not guarantee FSA/HSA acceptance.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
6. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your personal and health-related information as described therein. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by ReMind Health and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. REMIND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMIND HEALTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
